The Criminal Investigations Division of the Maumelle Police Department is comprised of three members. The Division is headed by Lt. Jeff Sackhoff.

The Function of CID is to investigate all major crimes. Unlike some larger departments that have Detectives who specialize in certain crimes, Maumelle Police Department’s Detectives investigate a wide variety of crimes.

After Patrol takes the initial report, the CID commander reviews and assigns the cases to a Detective. Each case is worked until all leads have been followed and the crime is solved or the case goes cold.

Detectives at the Maumelle Police Department work hard to solve each crime and make the best effort possible to prosecute each crime accordingly.
